So who is leaving?
Akira obviously
Vikena & Tangitau strongly rumoured to be moving
Any others? Sullivan not signed yet. Maybe Nock and/or Rush?

Heem maybe.?
Hope not given RI is probably on a sabbatical. Even if he's only there for injury cover

@Duluth have heard Nock has or is to re-sign for 2 years, which means he likely is happy vying for the bench spot, or maybe 1 of the other 2 are heading off?

Ok, I'm guessing all the halfbacks stay then.
Nock seemed the most likely given he was ranked third. The other NZ sides all have clear starters too so it's not like there's an easy path somewhere else
The general comments in the media is that there won't be much turnover this year

thanks
seemed like it was time to start a thread on next year. I may even get another season ticket - was weird not going this year ... but lots of clashes with family stuff. The game is much better to watch this year; refs aren't dishing cards for incidental contact to the same degree they have been in the last few years.

Has it been confirmed where Tangitau is moving to? Rumour was that it was the Highlanders but I wonder if the Canes will go after him as they've got to plug a few gaps on the wing, Laidlaw being his Seven's and Under 20s coach after all.

The Highlanders rumour was posted by someone with an almost 100% hit rate on his rumours

That's a great pick-up for them.

It would be. I hope it's wrong, injuries happen and form can change fast esp with outside backs

Really? I pretty much stopped watching because of it. Can't bebothered watching lopsided contests, so watched highlights to see who won.
Probably why the Blues took it out, because I didn't watch the full 80 of all of the matches...
I saw enough to know that I will be well pissed off if Hoskins leaves though (and that's not just from the highlights, although he did feature a lot).

I hope you watched the final, one of the most complete 80 minute performances I've seen. Worth watching a replay.

Sounds like it's confirmed that Rieko Ioane will go on sabbatical next year. Also that Heem will be back for one more year. Wilson claiming that Zarn Sullivan is staying.
Plummer, Barrett, Perofeta, Sullivan, and Forbes - that is serious depth.

So, definitely need a new 6 with Aki going.
Probably need a new 8 with my expectation that Hos disappears.
Suafoa and Segner at 6? Our area of strength just got eviscerated.
