    If their defence can improve on what they showed vs Wales it should be a closer game than 21 point loss the U20s had last year vs France

    I think it was mentioned France are favourites for the tournament, will be a tough test

    France only finished 3rd in the 6N U20 competition, losing to England, Ireland and Italy. They did score 31 pts in the first two losses.

    Taele has been very good at 12, likely the Blues will sign him up next year. Dylan Pledger was also excellent at halfback, has a very good running game.

    France are among the favorites to win the competition because they have added a few players from the Top 14 to their 6N squad. They have a massive forward pack.

    New Zealand and France have met four times at the Under 20 level, currently with two wins apiece.

    Recent history is with France.
