Kirifi had the initial job and Lakai's role was to follow and wrap the man. There is no way a no8 should be able ro wander past an openside and no8 off the back.

@Canes4life in the right situation Kirifi makes the initial hit and Lakai wraps over the top after that impact. It was a defensive process for the loosies. Shouldn't expext that from a team coached by an openside flanker.

You’re reading too much into anyway. How many tackles have we made and how many attacking raids have we stopped? It was a rare mistake by Kirifi and it cost us.

You’re reading too much into anyway. How many tackles have we made and how many attacking raids have we stopped? It was a rare mistake by Kirifi and it cost us.

Overall Kirifi and Lakai have outplayed their opposites.

They have had strong games in the open. It shouldn't mask that there is a procedural issue defending 5m scrums though.
