I was coming to nominate him - he's managed to do some brilliant work to compile Opta stats (from game programs etc) and generally has them ready when people start banging the anti-blues drum.
Edit: That's not to even count all of the data now available here, it's better looking at the results etc here than searching the web nowadays.
It's been a while since we had these awards, but a couple of years ago @bobily2 was popping up with some great stats too.
