Best of the weekend was Laurence with 54, only 3/5 on picks for all 4 category picks correct. Picking 4/5 were @BartMan who also topped 50 points, @taniwharugby Victor, @Hurrycanes @delicatessen and Boof. Plenty only picked 2/5 and if you missed out on category picks, it was a bad week for you.
@hydro11 still leads but the gap is down to 6 points from @Chris who is 12 ahead of @Winger
In the Sequel Cup the semi-finals are Laurence v @mikey07 and @Higgins v @sportboy
Finally in the teams comp, BOP Chiefs and Blues A are definitely in the playoffs after wins at the weekend. Barbarians lost to Canes Black and because a 3 person Canes Gold team beat a full strength SunJags, 7 of the 8 can still make the top 4. Barbarians play the 2 teams above them in the final 2 weeks so their fate is in their own hands.

A bit of a make or break round as only @Laurence @Duluth @Paj Boof @antipodean picked 4/4 with the Chiefs win catching the majority out. Duluth picked 2 categories to top score with 61, Paj had 53 and @george33 scored 52, the only one to bag 2 margin picks. @Chris crashed with just 10 to fall out of the title race. @hydro11 leads by 10 from @Winger with Langakali a point back in 3rd. Just 3 more weeks of tipping left, all to play for.
Laurence and @Higgins are through to the Sequel Cup final, with comfortable wins over @mikey07 and @sportboy - the final is played over 2 weekends.
In the teams comp, a narrow win for SunJags over Barbarians seals their playoff spot - Barbarians play South Island in the final week and will need a big win and a bonus point to make 4th spot.

Best of the weekend was @mikedogz with 58 and picking 5/5, @Paj with 55 and the only other 5/5 tipper - @ACT-Crusader & @antipodean with 52. @hydro11 still clinging onto the lead but just 4 ahead now having lost 6 on @Winger in 2nd. Langakali 3rd, @kruse 4th and @Chris back into the top 5.
The Cup final is locked at 30-30 between @Higgins & @Laurence with the 2nd leg to decide it this coming weekend.
The minor premiership was sealed by BOP Chiefs taking down 2nd place Blues A and well deserved - only 1 Chiefs defeat all season back in round 3. BOP Chiefs now play SunJags in one semi-final after South Island beat Barbarians in their play-off showdown to take 3rd spot and play Blues A next week for a place in the final.

It was a week where your score depended on whether you went home or away for the 2 games in Australia. Picking 2 away wins and 4/4 results were @Chris @Kruse @Laurence @sportboy Victor & @antipodean - Chris with the high score of 60 and Antipodean, Kruse and @Winger with 50 or more.
That has thrown the title race wide open as @hydro11 scored only 37 meaning that Winger takes the lead by 5 from Chris with Kruse 3 back and Hydro11 in 4th. Just 9 points cover those 4 so the title will be between them next weekend.
In the Teams comp, semi-final wins for the lowest ranked qualifiers South Island and the SunJags mean that they will meet in the final next week. The SunJags had one win back in 2019 and South Island reach their first ever final. Another choke for the minor premiers, BOP Chiefs who are still yet to win the title having reached 5 finals.
@Higgins is the TSF Sequel Cup winner after beating Laurence 79-78 over 2 legs in a real nailbiter. In the end it came down to an extra margin pick .

Scores updated after 2 games of 5. The Crusaders win could be critical as was the only one this week that was close to a 50-50 split of tips. Chris is 2/2 to move into the lead but only by a point from Hydro11 who picked both margins. Winger and Kruse picked the Brumbies and fall back.
For the final 3 games, all the top 4 pick home wins - it may still come down to category picks.

The champion for the season is yet again @hydro11 winning his 4th consecutive Super tipping title and 7th title in all. And winning like a champion, picking every result with margin in the final week to score a massive 70 points. He pipped @Winger by 4 points, the Crusaders victory being the decisive moment as they had identical points from for Saturday. 3rd was @Chris who was punished for picking closer victories on Saturday.
Rounding out the top 10 were @Kruse in 4th, Langakali & @taniwharugby shared 5th, @Laurence in 7th, @sportboy in 8th, I finished 9th and @Dolamite & @gt12 shared 10th.
Best weekend score was 72 for both TR and Victor, a season's best in the final week. Chris picked the most results correctly, 57 out of 76 and Hydro11 picked most margins by quite a distance, 28 maximums during the season.
The new champions with their first title since 2019 were the SunJags - well done to @kruse @Joan-and-Mary Richie, @gt12 Boof and occasionally @NTA who didn't turn up for the final. It was a comfortable win over South Island by 46 to 37, @gt12 with 63 the key and well supported by @Joan-and-Mary with 49. No score higher than 44 for South Island but a good season for them overall.
Taking a spot on the podium were Blues A, thrashing BOP Chiefs who fell apart at the business end of the season. TR and @george33 powered the victory for Blues A. The remaining placings were
5th Barbarians
6th Hurricanes Black
7th Hurricanes Gold
8th Blues BThanks to everyone who stuck with it all season, especially those that were out of contention. See you all at the end of July for NPC Tipping.

Thanks for running it KP, I admit to knowing I was gone early, and perhaps the last 2 weeks I picked teams I didn't want to win to put hoodoo on them. But that was in no way why I was down near bottom, I got to point I reckoned if I was tried to pick my nose I would poke myself in eye. Congrats of course to @hydro11 (Hurricanes Black team mate:beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes: ), well done mate, this was in my mind a genuinely hard season to pick.
