I wouldn’t read too much into Millar being ‘Shelved’ I think he and Fakatava are being eased into a long season and I’d view this as something as a rest week given they’ll have large workloads.
Yeah you’ll see in the landers press conference on YouTube that he mentions Fakatava not having a full pre season due to off season knee surgery. Nothing to read into in round 1, fair few sure starters aren’t starting for NZ sides.

For the highlanders, I just hope we see the beginnings of an actual game plan and the players being able to stick to a plan and execute.
Also, does Manson have his lawyers on the phone after being denied his guaranteed bench spot?

Really? I'm in Sydney and it's pretty dry, the odd shower around but I don't think it will be too bad.
It's meant to pack in around kick-off. Thunder and lightning etc.
