Carter has had a couple of clangers.

He is regularly penalised for offside so needs to temper the enthusiasm on defence.

That was the classic game of two halves. Everything the Chiefs would have spoken about not doing at HT, they did. It started by overplaying in their 22 leading to a turnover. Credit to MP for capitalising on the possession and territory they had.

Only saw the highlights but wtf did I just watch?

    Slater had a good match.

    DMac saved the Chiefs.

But by christ defence was optional for both sides there.

Same as you, but from what I saw the word optional isn't light enough. Somewhere between that and non-existent.

The tournament is a bit of a farce these days.

The six nations and this are different sports.

I realise they're in the entertainment business but the commentators willing the TMO to overlook what seemed to be a dropped ball in one of the MP tries was embarrassing.

Da fuq happened here? I switch over to the league at half time, then watch the 2nd half this morning and it's a totally different game. Glad MP showed some fight, but FFS, the Chiefs just went to sleep.

Also, is this really the year the NH-stans want to take a dig at defence in Super rugby considering the scorelines in this years 6 Nations?

Follow the NH club comps on instagram and their highlight tries almost always have comical defending involved.
