Chiefs lost the collisions. Physically dominated.

Control the gainline and NZ is bereft of backline players who can construct anything when we are in a position where we can't trade possession for territory.

The Chiefs didn't deserve to win. DMac's worst game that I can remember and no attacking shape. NSW defended very well.

The turning point was MSR losing the ball on the goal line. A waste of space.

Well is anyone going to complain about Crusaders getting selected after the Hurricanes and Chiefs display?

Yeah it's crazy, it's almost like performances over the whole season are valued more by people than one-off games?

No, just the performances when the pressures on and you’re not putting 40 points on a team

What about when you are getting 40 points put on you by Moana?

Only good for hitting pissed punters at the end of a night out.

McMillan should know who his best XV is now so it's time to end the rotation. ALB and Lord to come back into the 23 when fit.

The ABs backline is genuinely fucked. No 9 has stepped up, the choice between BB and DMac at 10, no obvious pairing in the centres. Love hasn’t put any pressure on Jordan at 15. The wings are depressing when Sevu Reece is out performing a lot of them.

I’m one of McKenzie’s bigger critics, but that was as much the Tahs putting in one of the all time great lockdown jobs as it was McKenzie shitting the bed - credit where it’s due. He was clobbered 4-5 times.

Don’t worry, my life is going great. Currently sitting on a deck in St Tropez in front of the beach. My only issues come from the sports teams I was born into supporting. Who I care about deeply. I just expect paid sports stars who I invest a considerable amount of time into supporting to perform their job well. As well as anyone doing any kind of job. It’s a passion and I’ll criticise them when they deserve it

Possibly Dmac's worst game, and my saying that as an All Blacks fan is a pretty big call because he has had quite a few absolute fucking shockers.

The amount of bullshit yellow cards handed out over the years for guys trying honestly to make an intercept and failing......and they let THAT go at the end of the game.

Thats a text book intentional knock on.

                                      @KiwiInLondon I think that's a bit over the top. We're not Wales.

The talent stocks in the backs are a long way from where I'd like them to be, but I still expect the ABs to be highly competitive but not dominant when the Tests roll along.

The point is that because nothing is set, we have another year (it’s been 10 years of farting around with combinations) of trying to figure out what to do.

We need two years minimum to get that backline ready for the WC.

@KiwiInLondon I think Wings can be drafted in and trained up with less than six months to go. Think Nehe Milner-Skudder in 2015. But yeah, Robertson and his team will need to be identifying the midfield combinations for RWC 2027 by this time next year.
