@Stag but hey if someone had told me at the start of the season Mp would beat 4 of the NZ franchise teams including the Crusaders at home and were on the cusp of finals rugby I would thought they would be on drugs
Could be worse could be Highlanders supporter

Chiefs refreshed from the bye week. Expect similar 23 next week but some rotation between starters and subs.
Huge shifts from Parker and Carter. Dyer Vaii Jacobson Sititi Ratima Tupaea and Dmac all class.
I dm so happy they finally put in an 80 minutes performance. MP showed how much Blues took out of them last week.

Statement performance by the Chiefs. A warning to all the other sides who will make the playoffs.

Commentators saying Moana weren't poor tonight. Give yourselves an uppercut.

Gotta be careful these days. Gone are the days of saying it how it is. Romping

@ARHS that was a physical game despite how limited the Blues were and it definetly took its toll and they have’nt got the luxury of being able to roll an All Black or 2 off the bench

<canerbry> poor effort from the chiefs, couldn't keep their tryline intact and couldn't crack 80 without the ref scoring</canerbry>

Brilliant tactics to start really took it's toll on MP and the whole team just on song.

Isn't blindside looking bloody good right now? If we end up playing a fucking openside there in the ABs, Robertson can get in the bin.

Blackadder is doing everything right this season to be starting blindside. Unfortunately.

17,666 people at the Tron for this one.

Great work by the folks of Hamilton and even more by those who travelled from out of town. That's the sort of crowd Super Rugby should be getting and needs to be getting if it is going to survive and thrive.

A week after one of the best individual performances in Super Rugby history by Ardie Savea, this by the Chiefswas one of the best team performances in Super Rugby history.

Massive shift from them both. I'd love to see what they can do in the Black Jersey.

Anyone who can’t see that DMac is the ABs 10 is ESN (Educationally Sub-normal)

Carter worth a punt on the wing for the ABs?

Got same energy as Graham and the French bloke whose name I can’t spell

Yikes. Poor bugger, that sounds gnarly. Can put a line through him for next weekend then. Glad the HIA was all clear.

@sparky how is Carter under high box kicks and whats his defence like ? Thought he got exposed big time defensively against the Canes a few weeks back , personally i would like to see a bit more of him under duress

@Steven-Harris He's not as good in defence or under the high kick as he is going forwards. Those can be worked on and I'd argue he'll improve better in those areas inside the ABs environment than outside. What was Julian Savea like in those areas when he started with the ABs?

I'm willing to take the risk with Leroy Carter, especially as we aren't exactly overflowing with options on the Wings at the minute.
