@MiketheSnow I like that backline, Hansen looks a bit of a spare part though.

    He'll have a stormer now.

Looking at the original squad selection I feel that the back row would start to look a little congested around the No7 shirt, with three out and out 7s plus Earl who plays his best rugby at 7 and Curry who is adept at both 6 & 7. But four matches in and we've had only two starters at 7 - Morgan and JVdF, which seems to me to say that the others are considered as utility players. Before this tour I'd have picked VdF above Morgan but from what we've seen so far I'm leaning the other way.

Yup, the home sides play on emotion early and are usually good for the first 30 until the pace of the game gets to them and the benches come on where one is proper test quality (obviously), and the other is fringe SR players.

Farrell making the same mistake as Razor - trying to squeeze players onto the field as his first concern rather than where they best fit and complement each other.

After a dissapointing start at home the Lions have looked fabolous in Australia, it's difficult to see any super team being much chop.

Pretty easy to see four, maybe five Scots in the test backline so far. Brilliant stuff.

@Catogrande Pollock being picked at 8 and 6, when his best position is 7, feels to be me like they are prepping him for the bench.

This will be a absolute flogging. Probably a similar score to the Crusaders Waratahs game in 2002.

Sweet. Looking forward to Kinghorns four tries as he’s plying the same position as Caleb Ralph

I'm sitting in bed at home, recovering from whatever the fuck illness this is 🤣

A mate over from NZ along with 3 guys from my Rugby club are at the stadium having spent an afternoon getting to know each other over a beer. To say I'm pissed off and jealous doesn't even cut it
