For an inside/outside centre, Laumape has a slow pass.

50 seconds for AUNZ to get 49 points. Keep the faith, lads.

Selecting Havili as the captain of a festival team is something else

Didn't seem like there was even anything wrong with that clean?

Man, if they do this again, give them warmup games for the love of god.

They piled on the points after those subs were made shortly after time. They subbed the wrong guys.

The commentator wants the same team format in 4 years to 'keep the tradition alive.' You couldn't make this stuff up.

Sounds like the early Foster-coached AB glory days.

What a gripping game. I think I've strangled all the furniture. Off now to reconsider my life choices.

Seems like they forgot a defensive coach on their team. Kiss is not a guy that inspires confidence in the Wallabies future.

@Mr-Fish Pollock got the downward pressure.

I'd have to watch again but as I said, it was more that it didn't smell right.

If Pollock hadn't touched it and HMP had gone to ground, I'm confident it would've been ruled that HMP had downwards pressure anyway, which means that regardless of Pollock's hand on the ball, there was downwards pressure from HMP.

Given HMP was the first player to touch the ball, his possession should have taken priority and it should've been ruled that he grounded the ball because he had pressure 'first'.

What a letdown this game was. AUNZ looked decent on paper but lacked cohesion.

Defence and the breakdown was the major issue. Kicking was often poor too

Samu was anonymous as a 7 and cleaning rucks. Quite different to the player for UBB as a no.8.

Jones, Joseph and Brown probably would've been a better unit for a one off.

But judging coaching ability off this game is a bit like judging Plummer's ability to play first five at international level off his debut.

Haven't read anything from the thread, but AUNZ No.5 and Frizell were very good. Otherwise, the Lions' juggernaut keeps rolling.

It turns us the AUNZ was a terrible idea. Let's never speak of it again.

It's a great idea, but awfully executed. The best of the home nations couldn't even beat Argentina and they spent weeks in camp as well as being very familiar with each other.
