    Interesting that you're picking Auckland after how well Canterbury went last weekend.

    So similar starting XV. Simpson in for the injured Harford and Vikena drops to the bench

    Anyone know much about Topeni?

    Also what positions does Norrie cover?

    @KiwiMurph

    He was on the bench last week too.

    He was part of that strange sub at the 70th minute when Funaki had to go to wing

    Marist Captain out of Dilworth school. When he was named in the squad I went back and watched two Marist games on Auckland.TV to check him out. He is a chunky blindside not very tall. In those games he carried well, was noticeably aggressive and put in several Jerry Collins level big hits.

    Here is a video of him scoring in the Gallaher Shield Final -

    What happened to the young Canterbury fullback that debuted at the end of last season and looked a real talent?

    @tubbyj He got injured playing club footy a couple of months ago. From memory it was an ACL. Not 100% on that but I'm not expecting to see him this season.

    Struggling to understand how Canterbury let Shearer go and then select the number 2 halfback from Ta$man whom from what i have seen is not the best

    Superb footy by Auckland. Getting the ball wide is killing Canterbury. Great skills in this weather.
