So ruck clean out, lifting the leg and dumping him on his shoulder is just a yellow? And no gnashing of teeth? What was all the kerfuffle 11 years ago about then?

Well. Bit anniyed about both results last night. I kind of thought the two that lost had the best shot of winning the comp.

But it is what it is.

Clan far far better team. Had the best of the first half and did enough to pull away.

Thought the TMO got all calls right.

Jackson on the whole ok. I think both sets of fans being pissed off at him confirms that.

Tamanivalu poor.

Fekitoa not effective.

Still not a fan of Dixon.

Don't get the Whitelock hate.

Surprised Squire doesn't start.

Bird looking ABish again.

Cane.

Best team won.

Here's hoping for all Kiwi semis.

I agree they got the correct outcome, but the logic applied by the ref & TMO was "ball knocked out by Chiefs player so not a knock on". They should have said "ball lost by Landers player but did not go forward, so no knock on".

They need to get some clarity around this, I always thought if the player has the ball knocked out then he has lost possesion, and if it goes forward it's a knock on. But they've been inconsistent this year.

Yup, Cane was smacking guys backwards all night. Put in some massive hits. Todd is (mostly) an accurate tackler but rarely makes dominant tackles like Kaino, Cane, Ardie etc.

Ofa is so destructive around the park that he was selected for the ABs despite his poor scrummaging. If they can get that part of his game to at least solid he could make an awesome bench player.

I call bollocks to that. Todd misses one tackle and all of a sudden he's rubbish. Funny I notice Read isn't rubbish despite getting shrugged off by Halaholo in exactly the same manner. I've seen Todd make plenty of dominant tackles.

Anyway, to echo someone else - it appears Cane has bulked up massively? Or just the white outfit?

For me he's more of the Pocock type; makes them so consistently but is much better coming in second man to get a turnover. He's just got far more upside on attack.
