Brilliant game. Shame Waikato couldn't have got a win. Not sure I've said that before

@ARHS Laurie is a Rolls Royce compared to the shit pit we're in
-
@Canes4life Ardie spent most of the game watching
-
@Chris-B he's probably still making his twin give him 5000 throwdowns every day
-
@Steven-Harris
Fair call. Needs some polish though. Higgins and Lakai look like the best of the young crop to me.So frustrating watching Aumua. Has it all but throws like a leper
-
Unbelievable! Been many a year since I've used the words Steamers and clinical in the same sentence. Seriously impressive (apart from the scrum) against a superior team on paper. New recruits were outstanding
-
@Steven-Harris yep. Tough after his family situation a few years ago. He's 100% effort every game
-
Oh what could have been. If we played with the acuracy we showed today, we'd be in the semis. Though another game where we leaked points in the last 20. Fitness needs to be looked at next year. Narawa looked great on the wing. Plenty of positives from the pack. We needed a better centre (shame Foketi was injured all season) this year. A new backs coach too. We were too predictable. Shame we didn't have Monty Ioane this year. He was electric. I'm still dumbfounded how he missed out on a super contract.

@Donsteppa bathe in it. We're on the plane mid morning
-
I believe this is Surfjesus' first trip to Argentina as ABs coach? Was his last trip as a player, when he scored a try in the left hand corner to save/win the game?

@KiwiMurph money can't buy heart

That was a great QF to watch as neutral. Haven't seen the above comments, but, as a neutral:
Otago seem to have some promise, and a few prospects destined for bigger things.Waikato....poor discipline. The All Blacks squad members may have promised the world....they delivered an atlas

Tough one first up. Is Lats injured? I see Parete is at lock for Naki, seems they knew we would pick a short lock in Ardron. I'm glad we have some continuity in the backline. What's with Simmonson? Contracted this year and last, but yet to make a rep game.
I'm keen to see how our front row goes this year. Some super rugby experience, somewhat unexpected for Thwaites, who did well I thought. I've always rated Sakalia, but she always misses part of a season with injury. I thought he was out best in the front row.
Gutted to lose some experience with the locks, but Ardron seemed to find five gears in a Chiefs jersey after being stuck in two last year.
Backs, gutted Monty Ioane wasn't picked up for super rugby. He had gas. Something our backs have lacked. Is Isaac Te Aute still around? Fuatai? -
Hair-brained by Gibson. No explanation from the union around injuries (typical). Such a class squad this year but this backline from 12 onwards seems like they were drawing straws out of a hat.
Seems Gibson is heading to the pile with Greg Smith and Kevin Schuler -
Direct from the corner. Outstanding
-
Can't take Justin Harrison seriously after seeing him out on the town when he played. Absolute pig. By far the worst I've seen. His commentary is worse.
-
@bayimports
And Pompey. His goal kicking has been excellent -
@Donsteppa withdrawals?
-
@Midge someone said out for the season. No info is given from the union. Classic NPC lack of fan engagement
