Hawkes Bay great and All Black on the tour of Italy and France of 1977 has passed away suddenly at his home in Central Hawkes Bay. Played 112 games for the Magpies, Captained the All Blacks in 2 games, as well as the North Island in 1976. Came on as a replacement prop against the French in 1977.
Great Player. RIP Robbie.

Once again the NPC cops it. Yes it will move talent around, but it seems to me, that given 5 years the NPC won't exist. And that's criminal, they've already squeezed it into a smaller time frame,. There killing the game at its tribal roots.

I have heard Brodie Rettalick wants to end his career by playing 2 seasons for the Magpies. Wouldn't be bad if he could talk his mate Sam Whitelock into playing the odd game for the Bay.

Yep that's 2024 done. So we now look to 2025. No doubt some players will go. Thompson , and no question they'll be others. One thing I would say is that Popalii that played for Counties, needs to be contracted to the Bay. He's a big strong hard running midfielder, who tackles his guts out. Be happy to here if anyone has news on comings and goings.

Hopefully if he maintains his form, he'll pick up a Super Rugby contract.

The whole point is that according to Super Rugby Coaches they think that Lincoln isn't in the top 15 first fives in New Zealand. And to me that's just fucking bullshit.
