Checking in late.....

Warburton is an absolute class act. He knew his team had played 14 men for 50 min and only just won. He is easily one of my favourite personalties

Yeap he came across really well in the interview and was well aware that they had only just beaten a 14 man All Black team. I also liked how Read didn't use being a player down as an excuse.

Then you have Gatland who reckons they haven't been stretched by the All Blacks. Maybe I'm just arrogant but if the All Blacks had only just beaten a 14 man Lions, Aussie or SA team by three points in the last 10 minutes I'd want an inquiry

I don't think TJP is good coming off the bench - he spends 70 minutes working himself into a frenzy and is about to explode when he finally does make the field.

well after a few years of drinking French wine - I'm back to the boycott.

Mind you should have had it won before Kaino was sent to the bin.

And an attack analysis, including the 'tricks' the Lions used to part the black sea for Murray: http://www.the42.ie/analysis-sexton-farrell-lions-all-blacks-2-3474564-Jul2017/ .

looking at the video of the first try if ALB had made his tackle instead of slipping off Daly it the movement would have been shut down. I don't think ALB committed to early as they say in the analysis he just did a shit tackle.

Kiwis will get behind Joseph , but my point is he may need a bigger support base .

id be trying to promote him in Australia as well for starters. Aussie fight fans would support him no problem , like they are doing with Mark Hunt, he is very popular here.

No need to do that ~ I'm pretty sure the Aussies will start doing that themselves ~"Australasian boxer Joseph Parker wins his fight".

Not too sure about Jordie Barret - I'm not quite on the band wagon yet he has done some good stuff at super level but so has McKenzie. His defense is bloody suspect as well. Only change I would have made was Julian Savea.

So how long does it take to make a new wing - a patched up one might be O.K against the British team but they will need more speed in the finals.

I think me jumping on the bandwagon might have been just enough to cause the capsize. My Canadian wife thinks I'm nuts after getting her and her whole family hooked during the last one.

This game really appears to have been one massive cockup by match officials:

Lions star Alun Wyn Jones should not have been allowed back on after HIA, says Matt Stevens

Lions star Alun Wyn Jones should not have been allowed back on after HIA, says Matt Stevens

Alun Wyn Jones should not have been allowed back onto the field during the third Test against New Zealand because he had exceeded the time limit allowed for a Head Injury Assessment (HIA), says Matt Stevens.

But wasn't he subbed after he passed the HIA by Lawes. So coming back on to replace Warburton when he went off for his HIA is all a non-issue.

3.14 Substituted players rejoining the match

If a player is substituted, that player may only return to play when replacing:
•an injured front row player in accordance with Law 3.5
•a player with a blood injury in accordance with Law 3.11
•a player undertaking a Head Injury Assessment in accordance with Law 3.12
•a player who has been injured as a result of foul play (as verified by the Match Officials).

yeah if they can shorten the race and its a 25 minute time limit - why not just say boat leading at 25 minute mark is the winner. I say this knowing NZ lead from the start.
