Oh and nice to exorcise the ghost of the Panesar drawn test in Eden Park a few years ago.

Really need a big effort in Hamilton...or 3 days of rain!

There seems to be plenty of draws in cricket with England which have been defeat recently. Many many ghosts!

Any sentiment I had about them winning the cup is gone. Perhaps they should own the fact that their success is predicated by the need for a ref that allows them to compete illegally for the ball at the breakdown and to constantly line up offside?

I hope we play them in the quarters and the game is decided by a couple of dubious reffing calls .

I would probably prefer it if they lost because Sexton was red carded for a high tackle.

Actually nah, let’s just thrash them by playing rugby.

I’d prefer if Sexton was yellow carded at a crucial moment for acting. The outrage would be delicious

France might be the jammiest country in RWC history

    Might?

Yes, though except when it comes to the final. Are they 0/3 now?

Though your point being they’re lucky to get there in the first place.

Namibian hit BFA on the face as he scored. Contact to the head innit?

    Indeed he did.

Lowering the tackle height saw no less head injuries in this trial

I’d suggest, forcing tacklers to go low is dangerous, especially where a player goes for a gap only to be double tackled. The head clashing between tacklers will sky rocket. Not only that but knees to the head of the tackler.

WR have really ballsed this one up. The tackles they deem to be cards all happen very frequently in a match, are fairly difficult to avoid and will continue to happen. The ref or TMO if looking, I'm sure could find half a dozen such collisions in a match.
