Would love to see Starc take the long handle to this spin bowling to erase the deficit

India did well restricting scoring. Finally break the partnership though.

Going to be a fascinating third innings.

Starc to Rana: "I can bowl faster than you. I've got a long memory". Lol

    They're IPL teammates apparently.

The result is probably still in the balance, but it just goes to show that only a really special cricketing nation can control a series against India from start to finish.

When you score 104 and the 10th wicket puts on 25 of them...

Rohit not available for this test (but appears to be in the squad for the next four tests).

But, not required in the playing XI for this test - Safraz Khan, Shubman Gill, Ravi Ashwin, Ravi Jadeja, and Akeesh Deep.

NZ in the nineties had Xavier Tras nearly top scoring frequently lol

Wicket looks much more benign today. A lead of 100 without a loss of wicket should be very beneficial.

India with a lead of 177 and with 10 wickets remaining. Almost no pressure on the batsmen. Five wides. I can't remember the last time I saw such a toothless Australian bowling attack.

Weird that they haven't given Hazelwood more of the ball in the second innings.

Gee. Quick to go from the GREATEST bowling attack EVER, my goodness 4 x 2-fiddy-plus, to COMPLETELY TOOTHLESS.

Sports fans are fickle as fuck.

@booboo This Australia team are getting rather old in the tooth. Is there any young blood in Sheffield Shield cricket that they could bring into the national side?
