That was a very tight leave from Latham, but it did show the benefits of being able to leave balls outside off. Woakes immediately over compensated and was put away for four, and even the ball after that was too straight again

Not happy losing a wicket early but 4 po is a good start assuming not just from edges. Happy with that
In the other camp though probably run rate not fast enough for this current England team, but hopefully that attitude gives us a chance when we bowl -

Haven’t followed the conditions reporting but this deck looks awfully green.

Not ideal losing Conway early, but that happens.
Don’t think England have bowled very well, a bit all over the place really.
Apart from Conways wicket, I can only remember one other over where out batters look troubled, that was when Kane nicked a couple short of the slip cordon.
Latham has cruised along really, just waiting for the bad balls and putting them to the boundary when they come.
Big opportunity to kick on here.

so, casting from the TVNZ app is utter rubbish.
The built in app on my smart TV is top quality.
I have no idea any more.

Quite possibly, they’ve got a few to seam around but on the whole there hasn’t been any demons in the pitch.
Should be great to bat on this arvo.
