Santner has astonsihed me this year. I did not think he'd clean up the way he did in India, and particularly in this test. Ridiculous.

Santners turnaround as a test player is remarkable.

So many on here were writing him off.

So that's the test summer wrapped up now. Next test a tour of Zimbabwe in July.

2026 will be better though - from November 2025 to March 2027 we play about 15 tests, including another boxing day test in 2026.

Santner unbelievable of late, very impressive.
Shame Southee couldn't reduce his average to back under 30, possibly played tests for too long which was a shame, but incredible contribution over the years regardless. One of 4 players to get 100 wickets in each variant at international level.
