Kohli is as useless as Sharma

Why play that shot 2 mins prior to lunch

In context: worse than Smith's massive swipe yesterday

    Funny how cricket works

Starc bowls about 25 balls worthy of a wicket and finally gets a wicket with one of his less threatening deliveries

    Cummins with 2 quick strikes.
Starc with a rank piece of bait which Kohli swallows.

    Advantage Australia

I think it was pretty smart bowling from Starc in that he was putting them short of a length up to that point, and then threw that one up for him to have a nibble at knowing Kohli doesn't like to be tied down. And it worked. Very poor cricket from Kohli though, him getting out seemed a bit inevitable, it's been a long while since he's had any real decent patch of form in the test arena.

BTW @MN5 Harsha Bogle on ABC Radio this morning, discussing Marnus' appeals.

"I think he's only second to Mohammed Siraj with DRS. Siraj would appeal for DRS bowling in the nets to nobody"

Harsha Bogle is a credit to the game. What wonderful commentator he is

33/3. India are fucked unless they pull out a Dravid/Laxman type miracle

@No-Quarter Kohli has been ordinary at test level for years now. In the last four years he’s averaged a very “Black Caps of the 1990s” like 32.56. He’s part of the “fab four” solely on reputation.

Still a freak in ODIs though.

@MN5 I wouldn't say India are fkd just yet when 2 of the 3 wickets lost are Rohit and Kohli - they are pretty much factored in.

Probably a fair point but I wonder if there’s anyone left to really dig in and save things for them.

Jaiswal has shown he can bat time
    Reddy has been good.
Pant can do extraordinary things if he hangs around long enough.
    Jadeja is no mug.

BUT 2 sessions? Dunno if all 4 can last.

    $10 tickets for adults today.

Might almost have made the 9 hour drive worth it...

Pant is one of the biggest tin arses in world cricket. He doesn't often last that long, but is entertaining to watch.

Joel Wilson is the biggest lollygagger in world cricket. When he made decisions they were awful, and DRS means he doesn't have to any more. Might as well let me have the job

Heard on podcast this morning that the umpires were currently 100% this test match so far after 4 days. That is good going.

Yeah despite Jaiswal being lucky I wouldn't call an umpire's call a bad decision

Like yesterday the ball when new appears to be the most dangerous. Cummins is going to have to think about that, he might need something a bit different

I think he's doing what he can: bowl Lyon from one end, rotate pace at the other. Pitch isn't playing up as much as hoped,

Jaiswal in particular has been beaten many times, much like Marnus yesterday.

Lyon isn't able to pin down either batsman at the moment, which limits his effectiveness.

Having said that: Lyon is bowling very flat and just now floated a few up to leave Jaiswal with some air swings
