Rohit has "opted to rest" for the SCG Test. Which is a funny way of saying "dropped"

After the spray the coach reportedly gave everyone I think he's opted to "bitch out"

Oh, Webster is 31 years old. I thought we were going to see two sub-30 year olds in the Aussie 11.

Expecting India to collapse in a heap this test, reckon they'll be spent, broken, divided.

But, we'll see. Have surprised lately in these Aus tours. But, I'll be surprised.

Agreed. I think the team is mentally fragile.

Yeah pretty clearly grounded just before he flicked it up. Sensational athleticism though. Shame - would have loved kohli to get o golden duck there.

Kohli has such a weird record. Average in the high 40s is very good but not great. 30 centuries though is fantastic. There are 17 guys to have got to that mark, and him, Jayawardene and Cook are the only ones averaging under 50.

Jayawardene is only just (49.84) and was a bit of a flat track bully, while Cook took almost 300 innings to get there. Both fantastic players, but neither were close to having 'best of their generation' tags like Kohli does.

When you dig into Kohli's record, he is fantastic in India and in Australia (only just dipped under 50) and South Africa, while everywhere else is mid 40s or worse.

Basically, against tough opponents, in tough conditions he thrives, but in situations where other batters would cash in on 'easy' runs he doesn't, which holds his average back.

Keepers of the 'line'. They know cricket better than anyone. So clearly they're right 😛

I think declining hugely in test cricket overall in the last four years has held his average back.

Once he gets that 200 today his average will go up though

    Agree.

If they could not drop sitters, they would have had a really good crack at winning that last test match.

    Sounds like the Craps eh

Smith managed that flick up to Marnus and then drops a sitter. "Erratic" much?

Line and length from this attack has been sensational. Webster bowled in the first session like - say - an allrounder?

    Hope Marsh was taking notes
