Kiwi Erin Routliffe and her Canadian doubles partner are through to the Women's Doubles quarter-finals after a 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 win

They need to stop losing the 1st set. That will come back to bite them sooner or later.

No such issues in the QF. Routliffe and Dabrowski win their QF in straight sets

Coco Gauff is on the verge of losing to Paula Badosa. She's playing terrible, with so many unforced errors, Coco has been far too tentative and hit tons of groundstrokes into the middle of the net. It's 5-2 in the second with Badosa serving for the match. Gauff is running out of time to save herself. Having said that Badosa has dropped her serve, Badosa will have one more service game to try and serve the match out

Nice for Badosa after a bad run with injuries. She's easy on the eye too, a bit of an Amazon at 5'11".

Not sure if Venus is still in the doubles. But Routliffe is a double semi-finalist.

Sabylenka is playing her QF now, the crowd is pretty poor from the looks of it, lots of empty seats

I'd have to take earmuffs to watch her play. I can't stand the grunters in the modern era.

She's not as bad as Azarenka in her prime

From the same country. It's mainly an Eastern European thing.

Aryna Sabalenka went 22 sets at the AO without losing one, finally had the streak broken but she escaped just, winning in 3

Novak turns back the clock in an epic 4 set come from behind win vs Alcaraz. I'm still sceptical he can win it all but this was a big statement game and he's more of a chance than I gave him credit for

And kiwi Erin Routliffe is into the women’s doubles semi. She and Dabrowski should be favourites to win their semi against Hsieh/Ostapenko

Unfortunately Routliffe and Venus lost their mixed doubles semi against the Aussies.

Great women's SF between Madison Keys and Iga Swiatek, Keys coming from behind to win a third set super tie breaker. She's gonna have to raise her level to beat Sabalenka who despatched her mate Paula Badosa in the other SF

So much for the happy slam. The crowds have been quite boorish at times, disrespectful of the players, and some of the media have been acting like dickheads with some of the players starting to call them out about it. Despite that the tennis has been very good.

Zverev told the crowd off for booing Djoker

I'm surprised Zverev didn't try to assault the women in the crowd

Funny how the crowd and media can hate on Djoker coz he's a weird guy with odd opinions, yet they support a drug cheat and a wife beater

    Hopefully Shelton can keep improving

He showed last night he's not far off being able to beat the likes of Sinner

Much more talent than the likes of De Minaur
