Former trans charity boss to defy ban on puberty blockers

Anne Trans Healthcare, which was set up by Susie Green, former head of Mermaids, says it will continue to offer ‘legal’ ways to access the drugs

"An organisation led by the former chief executive of the transgender support charity Mermaids has vowed to keep on helping children get access to puberty blockers, despite a permanent UK ban."

"Patients aged under 18 need the support of a parent, carer or guardian to access Anne’s services, with a “standard youth membership” costing £150 a month, plus a one-off £200 fee."

Whilst she'll be making money I'm sure much of her commitment to the cause is her desperate need to believe having multilated her own son.

This, believe it or not, is a Trans NHS doctor. Someone with a 10-year education in medical science.

“The term biologically female or biologically male is completely nebulous. It has no defined or agreed meaning in science, as far as I’m aware. I’m not a robot, so I am biological and my identity is female. Without wanting to appeal to the dictionary too much, I’m biologically female.”

Personally have zero problems with a Dr dressing up in women's clobber, but would have a problem with ther knowledge of basic biology.

@Victor-Meldrew being a medical practitioner is no barrier to mental health issues.

For the safety of the public the doctor should be prevented from practising.

@Victor-Meldrew I was following the tribunal yesterday (tribunal tweets on twitter) - it was absolutely batshit crazy. Makes me so angry what men like this and then the pathetic organisations that their ideology has infected are willing to put women through for the sake of 'mens feels'

Not just in the courtroom. I personally know a Snr NHS Midwife who believes a woman who's had a hysterectomy is more biologically male.than female.

Sick. Can't believe the government stance is now in favour of male violence against women.

Parents in hospitals are asked fill out a form confirming their babies gender and sexual orientation to comply with a New Jersey law requiring healthcare providers to “collect race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity in a culturally competent and sensitive manner”.

this is happening in the UK apparently:

"In one case a paediatrician said that a child had been brought up in the preferred gender of the mother, which was different to their birth-assigned gender. “She [the mother] had gone to the GP and requested a change of gender/NHS number when the baby was a few weeks old and the GP had complied. Children’s social care did not perceive this as a child protection issue,” the doctor reported."

Robust and accurate data on biological sex has been lost, leading to cancer referrals being missed and previous convictions being overlooked, a review has found

    @Dodge

I read that too. What is even more shocking is cancer tests have been missed and convicted criminals have had their convictions erased - potentially allowing sex offenders to work with kids.

When it gets serious. A top UK defence scientist believed sex was immutable and therefore very important when designing .defence kit

There were numerous examples where women had been disadvantaged in the military, including in the provision of body armour that did not fit women as well as men: “To address those kinds of issues you’ve got to recognise the biological differences between the sexes,” he said.

For this he was effectively dismissed from the UK's top-secret Defence Science and Technology Laboratory.

University allowed a professor to hounded out by death threats for writing a book questioning that gender identity was more important than sex. Gets fined,. goes bonkers.

University of Sussex said the regulator had been determined to make an example of its case and "entrench an extreme libertarian free speech position".....it accused the regulator of pursuing a "vindictive and unreasonable campaign".
