Peita at 7 again, not sure that’s his right position. Would prefer to see someone like Hainsworth-Fa'aofo there instead. Maybe he's injured

Spencer on the wing is interesting. There's a lot of fullback options in the squad, wing might be how he gets a run for the full side

@Mr-Fish David does have a son though (Darcy) that has played age grade provincial and may have trained with the blues u20s last year too iirc

@Daffy-Jaffy Did MP release a team list? They have injuries so it would be interesting to see who they've added to their wider squad.

                      @Bovidae
Apologies for the quality got a pic from the team manager
Apparently they had to get some more players in

On the game , for the Blues Tristan Cook was on fire as was Terrall Peita , not a 7 but did a great job
Xavi Taele is going to be some player as will Rico Simpson in time
Was good to see Cam Christie back given his head injury issues ,Jack Lee was also very good , high workrate

For Moana ,Alamanda Moutuga Tevita Ofa for the best for mine

@Bovidae I hunted but was unable to find a MP team list. I was interested to see how many young local players were involved with their wider squad.

An interesting analysis. Cotter said they want to evolve as you can't stay still, but did they change too much?

Given the current narrative that our wingers are slow, does anyone have access to the Blues sprint times?

Cotter may have more to worry about, too; openside flanker Dalton Papali'i was replaced late in the game because of a head injury.

Sounds like we will be out our two best loose forwards, and two half backs.

Segner at 7 is fine. Suafoa at 6 or 8

I assume Choat is still injured?

It might be worth going for a 6/2 and having an extra loosie to share the load amongst inexperienced players. There's plenty of utility value in the backs and Clark would have to be the emergency back if there's bad luck with injuries

Cam Christie as a loose forward maybe? Particularly if McWhannell is fit again. Possibly Pieta as an option.. playing out of position at 7 recently helps his chances

If Funaki and Nock are out who the reserve halfback? Milo-Harris?
