It's quite frustrating. I want to be happy for the other half and see them lose so they can get a coach in that takes advantage of this generational talent that's being let down by misdirection. But fuck it's good for the blackness when they carry on down this road.

That's one the Scots let get away. Goal kicking making the difference.
For the Lions Marcus Smith needs to start at 10 or not at all. At 15 he's more of a defensive liability.

Desperately shit game of rugby.
England are more boring now than they were under Woodward. Just a terrible game plan that should have cost them the game.
England can tackle, and they have excellent loose forwards. Picking 6 of them in the 23 and having Itoje makes them a constant menace when you have the.ball. but their backs stink, and their attack is rubbish, and their plan sucks.
For the losers, they have great outside backs, but not much else. Their forwards are nothing more than military medium, and Russell is so over rated.

They've had a terrific run vs England. A real bugger they couldn't win that when they should have.
In most of my time watching them they've had decent forwards but pedestrian backs, seems to be the opposite now.
I hope VDM can take fern favourite James Lowes spot on the left wing for the Lions tour. Huw Jones is class too. I think you're pretty spot on about Finn Russell as well.
Despite all this they'll still hammer Wales though

Was at the game again, actually felt quite flat at the end. That performance was pathetic, pick a backline to run the ball and then spend all day taking ages to set up a box kick that you then execute poorly. If you're going to send up short box kicks all day why pick a short winger and a short full back who isn't used to playing there?
We had no field position, no ambition, no obvious structure to our attacking game. It proved beyond doubt that Marcus is not the problem at 10 and it annoys me he's carrying the can for the worst group of coaches in international rugby. Borthwick's totally full of shit 'we want to play ball in hand and get the fans off their seats' - just embarrassing.
Winning on Saturday just means Borthwick won't be going anywhere and we're wasting what is now one of the best packs in the Northern Hemisphere (seriously, Genge and Stewart have really worked on their scrummaging) and some genuinely talented players in the backline.
If i have to read one more puff piece about Wigglesworth i'm going to be sick. A win that not only felt like a loss, but i would probably rather have been one.

Sums up my view completely, just a complete hotch-potch of selections and tactics. If the plan is to box kick all bloody day, then pick a 9 that can execute it well but if you pick two running 9s then why play kick the leather off the ball for most of the match? And as you say if you are going to kick then
A. Kick well.
B. Chase well
C. Do not kick to big top class dangerous runners like VDM and Kinghorn with two thirds of your back three being midgets.It's not fucking rocket science, everyone and I do mean EVERYONE can see the issues but not Borthwick and his team. How blind or deluded do you have to be?
