Super Rugby has been going for seven weeks, and I'm meant to believe Tangitau has already ripped up his contract, and the Highlanders have agreed to it that quickly?

If Caleb Tangitau left the Highlanders in 2027, I wouldn't be all that surprised, heck he might even leave after this season, but there is zero chance anything has been agreed this quickly for a player who has just got going... if that was the case, he'd have been left out the squad at some stage.

@frugby and i would argue there are more examples of the guys that got a decent shot at the landers, and performed....hanging around, these guys tent to stick with environments where they thrived, unless there is something outside the rugby drawing him back, hence my questions

hes already claimed he heard it from Caleb, why not elaborate?

the contract changing is a result of something else which i believe is obvious what i was actually asking? have the blues bought out his contract? has he got family issues and asked for compassionate release? does he hate it down here and threw his toys?

once again, dont be a dick about it, you cant think people wouldnt respond if you drop and in say one of our best players, one we're really enjoying...is apparently ditching us early....and then not backing it up with any actual details
