It's games like these that gets guys selected for the All Blacks. You look at the Hurricanes, and obviously guys can have quiet games, but Numia, Kirifi and Love have been comfortably outplayed by their opposites - who are all established ABs. Lio-Willie is not everyone's cup of tea, but he consistenly stands out in these games, and I think is well on course for the ABs.

Don't think CLW will ever play for the ABs - too small. Was on the EOYT last year and there were plenty of opportunities to give him some minutes but Razor decided not to.

Put Ardies haircut on CLW and he’ll be big enough

@Landers92 the majoirty does’nt select the AB team lets be clear on this Fihaki is not my choice in fact like most i was totally confused by his elevation to the Black jersey but to be fair he is showing whats hes capable of
Tangitau has been impressive but to be brutally honest you want to see how he handles pin point high kicks kicking game etc ..

Oh no don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying we do. Just stating who the majority would prefer, unfortunately he’s in the wrong colours.

@frugby really well put so much talk about Naholo but for all intensive purposes he’s being outplayed by Fihaki big time

No one is talking up Naholo for an All Black jersey.

I thought Roigard was average last week, and he hasn't done much in this game either.

Yeah he’s playing no where near as well as he did last year. Not running the ball at all. He’s needs to attack around the fringes which will open up space on the outside and just back himself. Maybe he’s got that injury at the back of his mind and isn’t playing as freely as he might have used to.

The Crusaders defence has been very good though. If they score right after the half it’s game over.

It was such a major injury, I was concerned it would play on his mind a bit and lose some explosiveness. I hope that isn’t the case. An injury like that can take a good year for a player to get back to themselves though so I think he will be ok. Something to keep an eye on though

There hasn’t been any space for him to make those runs, so I wouldn’t be too hard there. It’s more the fact that his pass isn’t as snappy and he needs to fit on his teammates a bit more.

I think Love is really good, but I also don't think he has shown enough that you put Jordan on the wing to play him at fullback, meaning Clarke/Tangitau/Tele'a miss out.

I’m not so concerned with Roigard, my main concern is Numia. Yes it was a bad calf injury but he’s been a shell of himself this season. Hope he finds some form soon

The obstruction / accidental offside where he called play on because the tackle was made was bollocks. Who's to say the canes wouldn't have got the ball from an unimpeded tackle?

Looks like a bit of frustration from Love there. That could have been an ugly knee injury for Jordan there. Taking up your main contender for the black 15 jersey 😂

A penalty for that? Sevu Reece and Quentin Strange acted like a pair of fuckwits at Eden Park and Doleman did nothing about then. Far worse that what Love did there.

Two costly lineout fuck ups by Aumua have killed us this game and they have given momentum right back to the Crusaders.

Pointing out the obvious here but if the Canes don’t score next it’s curtains.
