But I do like that our players are going to Europe to play for a season, as opposed to filling their pockets playing touch rugby in Japan.
Interesting location for him to go however due to obvious reasons.

Leinster are paying the wages, they're not weak like NZR and let him play where he wants - he'll be on the wing. They've got better midfielders than him

Blues will want to start some good recruiting for next year, that is a hell of a lot of sting taken out of their backline.
@SBW1 i would’nt mind seeing a Lam/Taele midfield combination for the Blues before the season ends probably not gonna happen unless the Blues are out of playoff contention in the last 2 rounds

I find that comment funny when Reiko Ioane has provided no sting for the Blues in the last few seasons.
The Blues centre that should be in the ABs is AJ Lam. He’s been consistently very good for you blokes and his big frame would suit test level. Definitely prefer him over Havili as well.

Based on how we bullied Chch I doubt any of the others would fancy meeting Blues in playoffs.

Well going forward the hope would be Renata is the tighthead in that situation and not a greenhorn on debut
Reds up for the Blues will be very tough. No NZ team has won in Aus and Reds off a bye.
