Yeah certainly action wise, but fuck...
.... wasn't expecting that. I don't hold out much hope for wanting to watch now that Mando is out. -
If you play the game you know what is going to happen. For the rest of us, everything is a surprise (good or bad).
I found this interesting.
The writers spent a long time considering which episode in which to place Joel's death; they briefly considered moving it later but decided against it. Craig Mazin felt placing it in the season's second episode was appropriate after witnessing Joel and Ellie's strained relationship in the first. Neil Druckmann, the series co-creator who wrote and co-directed the games, thought it should occur early as it is where the season's story earnestly begins, and leaving it later made him feel like they "were kind of dragging our feet". Mazin also considered the real implications of leaving it for later, understanding that viewers would consistently be aware that it has not yet occurred; he did not want to "feel like we're toying with everybody". -

.... wasn't expecting that. I don't hold out much hope for wanting to watch now that Mando is out.Still haven't seen it but I knew it was coming.

Quite frankly I hope both girls get killed asap. So fucking annoying. And in the real world there's no fucking way they would be in charge

Yeah hasn't gone over the top ridiculous, which was the point I lost interest in GOL.

I never got around to watching GoL, but two episodes in to Mobland and I'm hooked. Great cast, great writing. Ronan Bennett has a track record of excellence.

Much darker and with more complex characters. First 2 episodes way better than series 2.
I just finished it, thought it was pretty shit actually compared to the other two seasons. Found myself looking at my phone more often than I do with shows.
I'm increasingly struggling to suspend my disbelief - for example, Reacher has a snipers rifle with scope and night vision and instead runs down to the fight with a fucking handgun.Also got so sick of the whining about Taaaaresa, that when she wasn't revealed to be a stone cold 10 I didn't give a shit about her.
