I wonder how do you explain that one to coaches at the Monday review?In their defence, when you are under stress and lots of inputs, hearing is the first thing that the brain turns off. It's why radio calls are missed in air combat
@Machpants I would run with what you are saying if it was 50/50 call but when he has fair idea he’s pushing the boundary and he’s getting told it’s in the wrong imo it’s very average on Jacobsons part

Maybe I'm alone here, but make the call and move on. One view from the TMO showed enough evidence to reinforce the ref's call, so play it and move on FFS.
