Kyren Taumoefolau, rumoured to be heading to the Chiefs and former skipper Sione Havili-Talitui.
The players released include Fine and Lotu Inisi, Neria Fomai, Danny Toala, Michael Curry, Havili-Talitui, Taumoefolau, Pepesana Patafilo, Alamanda Motuga,
Sama Malolo, Aisea Halo, Tomasi Maka, Connor Seve, Irie Papuni and Pone Fa’amausili.

Yes, my apologies as I had to confirm a couple things before posting.
Ngani Laumape has signed with Moana. Comes from a reliable contact who usually provides me with the majority of the information I post in here. Manawatu Turbos are also trying to get him to play for them in this years NPC and by all accounts it’s sounding like he will be.

If Moana had been able to hold onto all their players over the years, they've have a gun backline by now (of course, some wouldn't have come over if they thought their position was being blocked).

Apart from Havili and Taumoefolau. Seems like all thr other lads were squad players who got limited game time. The correct guys to move on from a team on the up. Good service. Right time to leave.

Lotu Inisi is a massive loss, if not for injury, I'd still have him as their starting 8.

I also like how people act like we're everyone's 2nd favourite team all of a sudden when virtually no one wanted a bar of us in the first 3 seasons.

Oh come on it is. They barely got a mention in the first 3 years, players came and went in droves, no one really mentioned it at all, but now that they've won a few games, all of a sudden there's a big song and dance about it in season 4, and a lot of the comments were 'what's the point in this team', 'who's paying for it' etc plenty on here were critical of it too.
Props to Ardie for giving them a shot in the arm, even that received a bit of backlash.
