Sky and TVNZ near broadcast deal for NPC
TVNZ is expected to show live provincial games on its streaming platform TVNZ+
Sky will retain rights to major teams but collaborate with TVNZ on split broadcast package for NPC. Details are yet to be finalised but it is believed TVNZ will come onboard as a free-to-air partner n it's steaming platform from 2026

do we think "Major teams" means super rugby? or will Auckland, wellington and chch NPC games also be on sky?

Major teams would mean ABs and Super.

It's understood Sky will buy the rights to the All Blacks, all national teams and Super Rugby but will work
with TVNZ on NPC including Farah Palmer Cup.

As long as they sell all games on to Stan I'll be happy. By all, I guess I mean the Magpies games.
