One of my occasionally recurring nightmares is exactly this - getting stuck in a tight space. I'm doing all I can to avoid triggering that again. And if that involves an imperial shit-ton of craft beer, and some medical marijuana, so be it.

Yeah even if by some miracle they did save this guy he would have been severely traumatised by what he went through.

I went through a couple of caves as a kid, you could mainly walk through them, and one place you had to crawl in water. There are quite a few caves in the limestone country south and west of Port Waikato.
