Very disappointing result for Lawson, qualified 19th but up to 18th after Yuki penalty. Hadjar made Q1 but later dropped to 12th after penalty. Highly likely Hadjar will partner Max next year or even this year if Yuki continues to struggle.

I don't think Yuki goes anywhere until next season. Honda paid top dollar for that seat

Disappoint race for Lawson, he was doing ok running at 15th and heading up a DRS train but they couldn't pass him but had to retire after his last pit stop.

Good win for Russel, but the talk of the weekend is the McLaren incident. Piastri and Norris were racing, and Norris got it wrong and hit the wall. He immediately stuck his hand up and said it was his fault, all on him etc and owned it. I respect that and it's why I think he's so popular.

Sadly, it's perhaps also why I doubt he really is a world champion driver. I think you need to be a bit more of an arse. Could you see any of Max, Hamilton, Vettel etc immediately owning the mistake and not trying to pin it on the other driver?

@MajorRage I dunno, taking a bizarre, no chance, punt and nearly taking out the the championship leader who is also your teammate is pretty cuntish. Reckon many would question his sanity if he tried to offload responsibility.

Lawson is flying so far, looks to be a good track for the RB.

                Although Tsunoda out in Q1...

Fire on the track and yet again Albon has the shittest luck. Gets caught out mid flying lap and now I think it's only used tires left for his final shot.

Lawson on the 3rd row, fastest RB on the track! Verstappen and Piastri got a bit shafted by Gasly having a spin.

Fastest RB driver. Great opportunity to get in the points if he can race clean

Good to see him finally get it right in qualifying. In the last few events he’s been quick in the practise sessions and his race pace looked ok

Finally it looks like Lawson is driving with confidence in the car and his luck appears to have changed. Previously if something could go wrong for him, it did.

Tsunoda showing that being #2 to Max is a career killer.

Huge result. Weak start but worked in his favour as Verstappen was taken out.

Held off Alonso for 50 odd laps too as on same strategy. Beat Hadjar too.

Meanwhile, his Red Bull replacement? Dead last.

He’s now looking like solid lower-mid table driver. Awesome for him, if he can keep the team on side he’s on his way now.

Big step forward for Liam Lawson. Hopefully, he'll get a contract with someone decent and committed to him in 2026.

Meanwhile, McLaren are looking pretty unassailable for the constructors' championship and the drivers' championship may well become a showdown between Piastri and Norris.

@canefan Russell confirmed he was speaking to Mercedes. So anything is on. Well known Jos Verstappen does not like Horner.

Hard to predict this years movements. My guess, based on nothing is:

                                        Max to Mercedes.
                                        Hamilton out of F1
                                        Russell to Ferrari
                                        Tsunoda to RB
                                        Hadjar to Red Bull
                                        Red Bull 2: rookie.

Held off Alonso for 50 odd laps too as on same strategy

They've been stuck together a lot this year

Also, Alonso had DRS for most of that and Lawson did not.
