Am a little bit concerned Ioane has mostly played 11 not 14, then I saw his first season at Blues was at 14! But that was nearly a decade ago..

well we are picking our 10 on what he did a decade ago, so there is a pattern

How long did Tupaea get to play last weekend? Was it fifteen or so minutes? That doesn't seem significant enough to achieve much if players are going to be rotated.

Possibly more like they saw what they wanted to see and can now move onto seeing if their other options can also deliver.

Do you think they knew that fifteen minutes would be enough time to assess Tupaea when planning their use of the bench? Or would he need to play again this weekend if they weren't sure yet, leaving Tavatavanawai an unknown for another week? Will fifteen minutes be enough to assess Tavatavanawai too?

Comparing an almost incumbent to a debutant is apples and oranges. And who knows what they had planned for Tupaea before Reece messed it up with his prize winning melon.

Like I said, maybe they already had an inkling what they were going to get from Tupaea and last weekend confirmed it, so they can now move on to seeing if another guy is going to cut the mustard (a guy who they might like to see more of as they haven't seen him at test level before).

Prolly not what I would have done, but makes complete sense.

To be fair, he kicked points far more effectively in the last game than I expected. But I too would not have selected him at 10.

It's a shame that Ruben Love is not getting a chance. Hopefully he will in Hamilton.

Wouldn’t have minded Love at 15 this week and Jordan on the wing. I feel Love’s only chance of getting a run is if DMac or Beaudy get injured unfortunately. Hopefully he gets a start next week.

Assuming Tavatavanawai is on the bench this week, it could mean that Tupaea and ALB get a run out together in the midfield in the final game.

Love to start, DMac back to the bench to hopefully do his thing in the last 20/30.

Would've been interesting how much worse the kicking would have been with a back three that kick worse than half the loosies in the country.

I think Razors plan for DMAC is just that, because he will be expecting to bring Mounga back into the side next year, so DMAC can cover 10/15 from the bench

So we keep hearing. Don’t be so sure…

I think one of them will get rotated out for the third test to open up the opportunity for Love to come into the 23.

Don't read the latest Hamish Bidwell rugbypass article calling the All Blacks lazy and complacent and Joris Segonds a journeyman. Maybe he's actually quite a good player in a very well-coached team.

Assuming whispers right, then could see pack of:

                        Norris/Taylor/Newell/Holland/Patty T/Vaa'i//RD/CLW

Bench interesting. If two changes then:

                        EDG/BrodieMcA/Tosi/Finau/Jacobson.

I think this will be another tough test for the All Blacks, especially so if the ref starts dishing out cards.

Unless they tighten up their defence significantly, it really shouldn't be close. We made a heap of line breaks and just couldn't finish due to small errors and a lack of patience - if we fix either of those and nothing changes from them it should be comfortable.

It wasn't our points scoring, it was shipping 30 odd points to them that worried me.

Paddy Tuips it is. Well and truly confirms they want to have a proper look at Vaa’i at 6.
