Be surprised if Papalii played considering he is injury cover.

    My Predicted 23:

    1. de Groot
    2. Taylor
    3. Newell
    4. Vaa'i
    5. Holland
    6. Jacobson
    7. Savea
    8. Lio-Willie
    9. Roigard
    10. Barrett
    11. Clarke
    12. J Barrett
    13. Proctor
    14. Ioane
    15. Jordan
    16. Taukei'aho
    17. Norris
    18. Tosi
    19. Tuipulotu
    20. Finau
    21. Ratima
    22. Tupaea
    23. McKenzie

Close, I reckon Tuipulotu comes in for Barrett as a straight swap, Vaa'i stays at six, Kirifi on the bench and Jacobson misses out completely ( yep I reckon they will want to see more of DK especially at home )

Shit I’m good. Glad my sauces were right

Very happy with the minimal changes and straight swaps for the injured players. The consistency in selection, along with playing outside this week and hopefully some more conservative play and better defence will lead to a quality performance. It'll be interesting to see how the bench is used if all goes well.

McAlister/Bower/Lomax/Jacobson/Hotham/ALB/Love (and Paps?) lined up for France 3?

Yeah if he intends on giving everyone a run there's going to be BIG changes for test 3

I don't think anyone is upset with that lineup. If we click this weekend then they will look like a second string opposition.

Pressure is on Proctor to perform this week, hopefully he nails his role on his home track.

A couple of those guys may still be out injured or are there as injury cover so might not get a run. Love, Lienert-Brown, Hotham and McAlister are the original squad members who aren't on the injury list and haven't played yet. Might not require too many changes to give everyone fit a run if that's the intention.

And of those 4, do they really need to give ALB a run given they know what he’s capable of? The other 3 is probably where the focus is.

They could also stick those guys on the bench for McKenzie, Ratima and Taukei’aho and give them ten or so minutes at the end of the game and they've given everyone game time while for the most part playing the same team in all three matches. When you hear everyone will get a run, you tend to think it'll mean a lot of rotation or a full B team for a game but that isn't strictly necessary.

So slightly different to the leaked team. EDG starts and Jacobson not involved.

Nah, backline was bang on the money to what I was told and shared. Wasn’t the possible forward rotation they said to look for though.

One was an injury concern but looks like they’ve come through the week okay. That would’ve impacted the starting XV and bench. The other I heard was a possible direct swap.

I like that the players from last week get another opportunity. Hopefully a bit more accuracy on the defensive side of the ball.

Paddy Tuips it is. Well and truly confirms they want to have a proper look at Vaa’i at 6.

I haven't had enough coffee, I initially read that as Paddy Tulips and it somehow seemed a good nickname!

@ACT-Crusader course they will, we all know Jordie is right wing cover.

Fuck no. He stank when Foster played him there. 12 or 15 FFS.

    Ardie covers 12 though.

Please don't take this one seriously either.

No many changes because the first goal is to win the series.

It's not a French D team as some have written. Barassi and Depoortere were the incumbents for the 13 jersey in 2025 and 2024. Barré has played this year in the 6N while Halagahu had been in former squads and so had Colombe. Abadie is one of the best lineout specialist in France, as is Bochaton who is a big, athletic loose forward, capable of playing lock. However, they will miss Alexandre Fischer who had a hell of a game last Saturday.
