All Blacks v France II

It would help if he was in the squad but would Lam have been fast enough to replace Clarke at 11? Maybe he has potential at 13 one day?
Not really a case of how fast he is, more if he could book a flight from Auckland to Wellington and get here on time. Air New Zealand would be a more reliable option than Jetstar.

Narawa a right wing?
If so, Rieko to go woke.Took me a bit to get that
But yeah that’s the logical option

@kiwiinmelb i on the other hand got it immediately and you cant prove otherwise

Considering Lam is in Adelaide preparing for the AU/NZ game vs Lions tomorrow I'm not sure how useful an Auckland to Wellington flight is

We could be without Sititi, Scott Barrett, Clarke and Williams for the test against SA at Eden Park. Fuck.
It might be the perfect occasion to unleash Riley Higgins on the international stage.

ABs have confirmed
Caleb out
Narawa 14
Rieko 11Interested to see if Narawa can translate his SR form into form in black

Rieko creates a bit of debate around here, but these injuries to Reece and Clarke are showing his huge value to the team. To be able to play 11, 14 and 13 provides such flexibility for us, and even if he’s not the strike force he once was, he never really has a bad game in black.

Could easily play 12 too, had a great season there in 2018.........(sorry, Blues joke).

Jordie can do all of that and play 10 too.

His resistant to injury is probably his greatest asset.

Well Nic Gill said he was the best overall athlete in the team - speed, strength, endurance. So there is that.

So what's the consenus on this team? I'm surprised at the apathy here at us nearly getting tipped up by the French B team.
I don't think this a strong All Black squad, I think four years of Ryan as forwards coach and the same problems in the loosies (if anything we've gone backwards there) is pretty damning.
I can see us relying on individual brilliance, from newish players like Roigard, to paper over these cracks.
The typical first game issues, compounded by three tries going begging suggests we'll be better second time around.
If we're not, alarm bells should start clanging.

doesnt sound much different to what people have been saying for about 6-8 years now.

Yes because we need another midfielder in the squad
Far out this kid gets better the more we don’t get to see him play

Far too early. The kid hasn't even played a full season starting for the Canes. We have plenty of MF options to explore already
