Codie Taylor with his best game in ages. Locks going well, too
I can see why they start him given how much work he does ball in hand particularly up the middle.

French look like a team that hasn’t played together before, and ABs look like a team with a game under their belt. Pleased with the forward play tonight thus far though. Big Patty having a blunder and the loosies working well. Not convinced on our centre-wing combo.
a blunder? fern spelling variant of blinder?

He was really good last week as well.
True, but he has gone one better this week. Absolutely best I've seen him play in a while, doing all the basics well and adds some flashes of briliance.

Tight five has been outstanding.
Great to see the lineout/maul working well, better support play, more aggressive defence, and more play up the centre of the park.
Tuipulotu has made a massive difference.

Half Time. All Blacks 29, France 3.
So full time will be All Blacks 36, France 16…..

Clearly our best hooker

mixed results
Does that mean the second half will all be valuable kicks?

@Chris the volume of kicks you tard
TBF it doesn't matter who his coach is, BB kicks a fucking lot, with very mixed results.
But so many tells me he's the controller we need
I've always thought BB would be better if there was no coach involved. He always plays his best when grinning and playing like he's in the back field with his brothers just pulling trick kicks out of his ass.
Just let him loose, and say "play rugby".
Perhaps not a viable strategy at his current age, and at this level, but... -
When Jordie plays at 10 we are so much more direct.
Can't believe BB missed that easy conversion and he is still passing way too early. -
The thing is they ripped out the French B spine from last week. Not enough leadership. Not sure what we can take from this.

Nisbo's going to be 75 in December. Surely time to hang up his mic.
Would like to be that sharp and getting paid to watch Tests when I'm 75.
So greedy. I'd just be happy to be paid to watch tests
-
@ACT-Crusader Yeah, fingers crossed we don't go to sleep in the second half.
-
So good to have an aggressive running threat at 9.

Time for Nisbo to move on ..Ardie now Jim
Yeah that was shocking. They don’t look similar in the slightest.
We are playing well. BB option taking the only real thumbs down.
This half time panel is awful. Very origin like.

Proctor more indecision on defence.
Still don't see what our Canes contingent sees.

Fuck still kicking away the ball BB kills our attack every time.
It’s the game plan. Blame the coach
Yes it is. It's easy to blame Barrett, but it's all part of the gameplan, turn the French forwards around and get them working to get back onside, and then open them up which creates holes should we look to run once the French forwards get tired.
