French look hungry, we look like we went to sleep at half time

Week after week after week after week this happens.

Yeah, second half drop off isn’t a good look. One thing with Hansen’s teams is they always came out ruthless after half time… well, pre-Lions tour at least.

@Darth-Sader Rot appeared in 2017. Grew in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Schmidt and Ryan made some of it disapppear, but lots of it is still there.

Agree. The mental sharpness isn’t there. Unfortunately our flashy skills band-aid a lot of it.

TBF, the periods of shit and flaky play have been decreasing in the last few years.

Proctor did well not to get dragged over the line to be held up.

@Victor-Meldrew Foster got a lot better as HC in his last eighteen months and Robertson is pushing things in the right direction. Not quite where we want to be, but a lot to be proud of.

What gives me hope is there is a good core of newer players coming through - Vaa’i, Roigard, Sititi.. alongside superstars like Jordan. I just hope Razor builds a core style of dominant forward play, whereas I fear he’s decided our point of difference is our high(er) skill level… leaving a soft underbelly
