I like Ratima but he's an enormous step down from Roigard.

Thought all the newbies were really good, liking the pressure being applied before and after halftime, but fuck fix the last 20 minutes.

It's a big jump now from our first XV to the guys picked to come off the bench, I'm afraid.

You know, if they moved JB to 10 and had QT and Big Jim at 12 I wouldn't mind that much at all. And I don't recall great memories of JB as a makeshift first five.

I’m really not sure given Reiko is no longer viewed as a centre if he warrants a place as a winger moving forward
The lack of vision to link with anyone is concerning can be very thankful their are injuries around the squad and someone like Tangitau is injured
Not trying to be troll regarding Reiko but I do wonder if there.s better options

I think he'll be an impact/bench player eventually. But we still need him as a starter given the current number of injuries to three-quarters.

Our best period of the game was when playing with 14. There's something badly wrong when that can be the case.
Forwards in the first half treated the French like the B team they were.

But that’s when we were playing against plumbers and electricians*

*if you love a good MJ vs LeBron GOAT debate

The way I see it, there’s really not a huge difference between the skill of players in the Tier 1 nations these days - and I’m talking about the top 30-35 players. So to put big scores on you need things to both click and for the opposition to do dumb stuff.

Agreed. He may be a great team man and very committed, but he isn't that quick, substandard distribution, no kicking game, no high ball ability.

@Steven-Harris His value is now utility and experience - can slot in at 11/14/13 and do a job - useful squaddie but ideally as a starter you want more

Was good. Very few if any errors. Got involved. Looked dangerous.
