Fark must have been hard to turn that one down
To be fair, aside from eligibility and standard of play, a choice between Perth or Hamilton isn't necessarily clearcut.

@WoodysRFC ehh Hamilton hate is so forced.
Lived in Hamilton, I loved it, Kiwis, particularly from the regions, are just infatuated with Perth. It's a city with a great climate and likely better career prospects.
-
Sounding like a done deal with Mathis. Based on his reaction when the question was raised to him on the CGW last week, I’d say he’s already signed the contract.

It is a bit. It's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

Perth is a fucking shithole. A boring town a million miles from anywhere, flat, full of really fucking weird people. Inflated prices for everything thanks to FIFO money. Freo is okay, but there are a lot of deros in Freo as well.
I'll never go back without a really good reason

Hey hey, no way to speak about my new home town like that!
Anyway, as you were Chiefs fans.

I know the name has been floated in here but I’ve just had confirmation from an extremely reliable source that Isaac Hutchinson has signed on with the Chiefs for next year(unsure of contract length) and sounds like may be joining Waikato too.
ACL was done in club rugby at the back end of the season so won’t be seen until next year.
-
@Landers92 Yeah he's certainly signed with Chiefs a few months back. I haven't heard the Waikato info but he was set to play for Canterbury this season before he did his ACL.
-
@Fredsaua12 sounds like Waikato want him from next year on when his contract is up. Whether he chooses is anyone’s guess at the moment.
-
@cliff It will depend on what the breakdown is for the backs. Is Foketi just a 1-year replacement for ALB? Then there could also be another contract available to replace Poihipi. Four midfield backs could be enough with cover from Narawa/Carter.
