Robertson is definitely being more bold in his selections.

So Rieko is not even trusted to provide midfield cover now.

good to see they are persisting with Proctor, he has all the attributes, just needs to tidy up some defensive issues (IMO is more to do with has positioning than pace)

Perfect opportunity to have an extra forward on the bench. We are just dumb.

So Christie is not going overseas? Seems odd for him to be playing this match (for himself and from the AB perspective) and ruining his chances with Scotland.

@Landers92 The pack picks itself. All eyes on spare loosie.

Logic would say Finau, but wouldn’t be surprised to see Lakai.

I think there may of been a mix up, the rumour was he was going to Newcastle, but turns out it's Tom Christie.

Not at 12, no, which is clearly why ALB is on the bench.

Poss. see this as a banana-skin game hence a pretty conservative bench and a continuity backline from the French series

    And Scotland don’t need him

@Victor-Meldrew Razor just wants to bank a win in the first game, and then will be aiming to chnace his arm in the second.

We better be up by plenty with about 20 minutes to go, because our team is going to go backwards with the bench like that. That's what I call negative impact

The forward bench will have plenty of impact.

    1. ALB

ALB's bench impact consists of penalties, errors and yellow cards.

You would like to think he is on notice but I doubt it - much more likely is that he is part of the tenured AB group who don't seem to be under selection pressure (of which there are a few)

ALB has racked up 86 tests.

He’s still just 30 so will probably comfortably get over the ton despite being distinctly vanilla in the last few years

Once you are in the senior leadership group, you are above reproach.

He'll probably be very conservative all RC. The last thing he wants is to lose two Championships on the trot

You'd think, but it probably doesn't matter until RM is back.
