NRL 2025

the biggest implication could be at the Roosters. The names are some of the main ones
-
actually the biggest story today is Xavier Savage has cracked his shoulder and is done for the year. Massive loss for the Raiders

The way my foggy night work brain understands it - In no reference whatsoever to the case against Cheese, (I have no knowledge of it other than what has been reported) in Queensland, if a telecommunication device is used to commit a crime the alleged offence is deemed to have occurred in either place - ie where the message was sent from or where the message was received. In most cases where it was received seems to be used more often.
In regards to supplying a Dangerous Drug, merely giving your mate some weed is enough to be charged with Supplying. In theory, even passing the dutchie opens you up to a charge of supply (who hasn't done that?)

only to the left
(also that seems fucking stupid to me)
-
but based on that i wonder what the defense they are so confident of is?

Fucking stupid to me too.

Seems like a storm in a tea cup. I think I would be more concerned with outright tanking with Penrith set to name juniors in first grade, up to 16 changes potentially

As a copper/ex copper do you think any non "celebrity" would be getting charged for this? If there were messages from me on that phone trying to hook my Brisbane based cousins up I highly doubt I'd be facing any charges.
(For full disclosure I have no idea how to get coke in either Sydney or Brisbane/Coasts
).

I think there is a good chance they would be getting charged, if not drug diverted ( depending on the offence). Cops tend to be more willing to take action with drug offences because the Drug Misuse Act provides police with protection from having costs awarded against them for failed prosecutions.

Really? I'd have thought that the dealer would be the guy they were going after and wouldn't bother with me sending a group text to hook my cousins up.
Joh Biejke is gone but the police state still exists.

The key thing here I think is whether the names of Smith's Sunshine Coast cousies are guna come out.
Wonder what the attitude of the cops is to that.Friend of mine got busted when he was scoring for everyone for a weekend away.
That made him a supplier. The cops love that they can leverage off that. -
Knights coach O'Brien set to be sacked finally.

interestingly he is going to "step down"
(ie he's sacked but for less than the contracted pay out figure)
If they immediately promote their attack coach which has the Knights with the least points scored in the comp then Newcastle fans might actually stop caring.

The Cowboys have missed the boat here, by hanging on to Toddy for the first 6 rounds of next year before they wake the fuck up and realise he can't get his teams to compete in the grind, they will have missed the boat with a decent replacement.

Sometimes you're just better off losing. These last couple of weeks could be saving Payten's job.
-
@mariner4life Both O'Brien and Green are managed by that fluffybunny Isaac Moses.
Moses definitely prepared to destroy a another club.

Yeah agree with you, going to be a few new coaches next year and waiting six months isnt going to help if you have to go to the market again.
