@sparky You didn't miss too much..
There was a screamer of a try, an individual piece of brilliance from Miller just after the red card, quickly followed by another from Sorenson-Magee, that's about it.
Although they will need to be more savvy with the refs interpretations if they are going to finish with a full complement of players on the park.

@booboo A lock. Bayfield. Was just 2 yellows = red. She got the blame for collapsing a mall for the second one. Wasn’t watching closely enough to know if deserved, just saw her looking bewildered.

So, South Africas win today sets up a likely/almost certain quarter final versus the Black Ferns on Sept 13th.

Three AB/BF matches v SA in 7 days.

Looked to a few hungi* in there, hope they don’t do that against better opposition.

    • Plural of hungus. As in fungus / fungi, cactus / cacti.

Probably. The BFs have a third pool match first against Ireland in front of what will be a pro-Irish crowd in Brighton.

Let's get through that before measuring up the Quarter Final curtains.

Nice to see the BFs in Black.

How good to see them all wearing black boots. Take note ABs.

The queensgate car park mystery finally solved.

The officiiating is absolutelly ludicrous. That so-called cynical collapse was non-existent. That was just competitive rugby.
Any excuse to give the minnows an easier ride.

Just watching the game. Jorja makes a copy book tackle and jackal, gets penalised for being overly physical? (Dunno?!). The backline move that set up her space for Miller's first try was sexy. They could give the ABs some tips

Draw between Australia and USA makes the last pool matches interesting.

USA go up against Samoa to try and rack up a big score, then the Wallaroos at least get an inkling of how fucked they are against a rampant England.

    135 is the magic number.

FFS that pass was a mile forward from England, not checked, try given. Officiating has been a joke so far

19 minutes gone. Aussie women lead the Poms 7-5.

The rub of the officiating favouring England so far. Australia with much more possession.
