The Canes have the best facilities in the country, fitness hasn’t been an issue.

MP's best hope is the relative success of this season and the feel good vibes around the team will entice a independent investor to secure their future, as opposed to leaning on a charity diverting funds from the community the team represents to instead prop up 38 almost-professional rugby players

Would be a good get for Northland. What about going back to CM?
From a Highlanders perspective, it could mean Tayne Harvey will get a decent look at the 12 jersey for the Stags.

@SouthernMann that’s a good point as he does have ties to CM I do know he has whānau in the Manukau & West Auckland area
Personally as much as I would love to see Faletoi up at Northland I hope he stays with the Stags ,looks like he’s enjoying his time in the deep south it still beggars belief that his obvious talent up this way was overlooked simply because of perception . -

I'd suggest the Canes have preferred Bason over Ropeti in their WTG. They will also need to carry an extra 7, likely Cooper Flanders.
