Yeah I was pretty surprised at how high he is, especially when there are 34 guys to have got to 100 (since the EPL started).

Last season Wood had 17 non penalty goals, Haaland, Isak and Wissa had 19 and Salah 20.

I suppose I should have done this KiwiPie style and made you guess! Wissa surprised me, but the others were obvious.

Shearer has 100+ for two teams, no one else even managed 50 for both teams. Van Persie did 96/48, Dwight Yorke 60/48 and Dion Dublin did 61/48.

If Wood gets to 50 for Forest (103 total), he... won't be the second to the milestone since he finished on 49 for Burnley! (Plus 4 for Newcastle). But he'll be the closest since Shearer.

Bournemouth always find a way to lose to Brentford especially when they were under Frank, not too upsetting exiting the cup in first round to them.

At least we didn’t exit by losing to Grimsby Town

Man United is the gift that keeps on giving. Post-match sounded like Amorim is already penning his resignation letter.

@KiwiPie They could play as few as 40 competitive games this season (depending on how they do in the FA Cup) whereas clubs who do well in the European competitions could play as many as 60.

Huge drop in Man Utd's revenue coming.

Liverpool need to fix their defence if they're going to win another title. They've let in four in two games.

A word for James Milner - pretty amazing to now be the 2nd youngest and 2nd oldest scorer in the EPL. He'll need to score some time next season to beat Teddy Sheringham's record and be the oldest scorer. He made his EPL debut in November 2002 .......

    NES gets the chop

    Sep 9  /  02:18

Nuno out at Forest 3 games into '25-'26 season

Nuno out at Forest 3 games into '25-'26 season

Nottingham Forest have parted ways with manager Nuno Espírito Santo, the club have confirmed.

Seems a little unfair, considering he took them into Europe on the back of a very good season last year. I don't wish bad for them, especially as Chris Wood plays for them. But it's always dangerous when an owner starts thinking he knows more about football than the football people trying to run his club

It would appear so. Terms agreed

Maybe it's a Greek thing? Maranakis wanted someone who understands him? Well this will certainly make for improved content during the season

Not sure it will improve the defence though....

Fairly predictable weekend of results. Liverpool win yet again late in a game (and Burnley lose again with a penalty after 90 minutes). Amorim looks more like a dead man walking as City win 3-0. Arsenal dispose of Ange's Forest fairly easily and Bournemouth win again to cement their place in the top 4 @bayimports

but, but Marinakis has nothing to do with the running of the club.

Just ask UEFA - and Palace 🙄

started our 18 year old CB as well, he is a monster and did better than was expecting.

Interestingly the the latest fixtures between us and the seagulls has a 2-1 result, thankfully we were finally on the right side of one!

Amusing that Sheffield United sacked Chris Wilder when he lost the play-off final, appointed Ruben Selles and have got rid of him after 5 league games (all lost) and are re-appointing Wilder.
