Broncos win a home opener, with 6 sacks (to make up for Nix throwing two interceptions).

Chargers beat the Chiefs and maybe can do something this year.
Colts whack the Dolphins, which is good because i fucking hate McDaniel
Falcons start with Penix, who throws for almost 30 yards, and they still lose.
    Rodgers can still sling it.
The bengals o-line is still trying to get Burrow killed.
Packers have gone past the Lions and holy shit i still can't believe the favour the Cowboys did them.

Right now the Ravens are running down hill over the Bills. Henry has over a hundred yards in a first half, and watch the fend on the way to his TD

    @nzzp

I gave up on it too!!!
    And I follow the Bills!
Was watching and thought I cant watch this anymore, it is F'n over, and changed channel.
And then they did it, with time to spare!

Not good for the Bills tho . . . all the work they've put into their D in the off-season . . . and still let in 40!
Aint winnin no SB with that D.

You'd think the Ravens might be startin to have Bills issues now.
Having said that; the Ravens are quality, their attack was incredible, Jackson, Henry and the rest.

Lot of excellent games for week one, just about all teams came out firing.

    @mohikamo I have a Henry jersey.

He is a beast. Cannot imagine trying to tackle him. Still cost the Ravens the game though, with his drop

    yeah his fumble was critical
him, and the likes of barkley, have been fantastic the last couple of seasons
running backs seem to be regaining a bit of respect
one of the most difficult positions to play in all of sport imo

Running the ball had to come back when teams loaded up on talent in the secondary, and edge rushers who can run a 4.3. Throw in the better coverage schemes and you can't just throw the ball every play now.

49ers pull a win out of their behind

Will definitely take it. An away divisional win is golden for a team trying to re establish their identity. 49ers defense looks far better with Saleh back as defensive coordinator.

Feels like it will be a roller-coaster season - should be far more fun than last year's Super Bowl hangover nightmare season.

We lose Kittle for at least 5 weeks, Purdy is questionable and may be out for 2 weeks. We just can't stay healthy

Agreed on the health - though I would be surprised if Purdy missed any games (he played with injured ribs in his rookie year with 4 days between games) and if he did - I suspect it would only be 1 (they may wish to avoid the artificial surface of New Orleans week 2 before a home game.on natural grass week 3)

Moody was was a high pic for a kicker for the 49ers not so long ago. Missed a couple of kicks on the weekend that almost cost them the game vs Seattle and he's out despite the coach saying he was safe prior to the game

Well it took less time than usual for me to be proven dead wrong.

Purdy to be out 2-5 weeks.

Reality is Shanahan wanted Mac Jones from the beginning but ended up with Trey Lance. Mac Jones is up for SF

some very fucking boring football televised yesterday. Atlanta v the Vikings was shit, 2 ordinary offences kicking field goals while edge rushers made offensive lines look stupid.

Superbowl replay was dire. The Chiefs are a horribly constructed "team" that seem intent on wasting the middle years of one of the best QBs ever by recruiting zero skill players. No runners, no receivers, just old man Kelce or Kermit having to do it himself. The Eagles are loaded with talent and yet yesterday they ran nothing but tush pushes, mostly illegally. A dire game really.

The exception was the Giants at the Cowboys, where for most of the game Russ Wilson wound the clock back at the same time his team was giving up about 80 penalties costing about 3,000 yards of offence. The last quarter was sick, huge TDs leading to a frantic OT where unfortunately for the Giants Russ remembered it's not 2013 and he is not in Seattle.

Denver lost on a fucked but probably justified penalty.

Defensive talent is insane at the moment. No separation in the pass game, 3 or 4 edge rushers who are the best athletes on the field, QBs have no time and nothing to go to. And it makes the game hard to watch at times with dump play after dump play. Find a run game or die.

Enjoyed the Bucs Texans on MNF. Chargers Raiders not so much. Also, Khalil Mack's arm bent the wrong way - it looked very ugly.

Still a good comp this year. In fairness @mariner4life KC have lost their top two receivers So they're playing the Finlay Christies of the wide outs.

Even the most ardent Browns supporters wouldn’t have been confident winning against the Packers.

It’s been a round of surprises. The Bears winning.

Bears looking competent and winning! Ben Johnson looks a good head coach right now. He's made Caleb play to his strengths. Got to be stoked if you are a long suffering Bears fan like my mate
