and we finally get to the Finals
Friday night Storm v Dogs and this has so much riding on it. Both teams desperate to win and get the week off to try and get some troops on deck. Neither side is travelling well, and i reckon the loser goes out in straight sets. Storm have fallen in a heap and will completely rely on Harry Grant dragging them home, the Dogs blew it all up signing Galvin and shuffling their spine to try and get more points. Can't pick it.
Saturday we host the Panthers. On paper they will smack us but like @ACT-Crusader i can see us lifting in front of a loud crowd. It will need to be a big lift, we're a bit shit at the moment.
Sharks v Roosters Saturday night. Impossible to pick, both sides are good but untrustworthy. Cronulla seem to fall apart under pressure, while the Roosters drop too much ball. I think the top 4 would be happier if the Roosters go out.
Sunday is the game of the weekend. The broncos have finally come good. While he is an absolute bell end, Walsh is playing electric footy, they seem to have sorted their defense out as well. The Raiders have been the bench mark all year, have tough forwards and fast backs, and they play without fear. In Canberra i reckon they win. -

We have a chance because Riff like to grind and that doesn't bother us, its teams with explosive speed that kill us. But they have more class and are well rested and we have DWZ
Roosters easy - Sharks no Trindall and now Nicho banned surely done
Last game the toughest but leaning Raiders. Walsh has had plenty of hands on the ball since his halves went down, if Reynolds back does he have the same influence and time with ball? -

Parra gave up 36 points in the first half of round 1, and finished the year putting 60 past the Knights. Shipped off a heap of experience, lose Brown to the Knights, but Ryles is doing a good job. Moses needs to stay fit though.
Good stat yesterday, Moses missed 11 games. If he plays and they win five, they were top four. He is a superstar and picks others up around him second to none

i have said it before and i will say it again, he is the player the media try and tell us Nathan Cleary is.

So Hynes charge downgraded, Im pretty sure if it wasn't Hynes or a finals match this doesnt happen. Poor look
-
i didn't think it should have even been a charge, but yes, this is absolutely a finals discount

Some good rumours doing the rounds
AKP linked to six teams including the Wahs.
Tino will not be joining the Wahs at this stage.
Grant will sign a $1m deal.
NAS likely to SLDont know how accurate the first rumour is but apparently we are close, that would be a huge pick up if correct. Would give a speed and a proven finisher on one wing
-
i just red the AKP as being a pretty solid rumour and Titans fans are PISSED.
Huge upgrade for us on the wing, same defensive frailties but way better attack.
-
I cannot imagine any defensive frailty that compares to DWZ. I really only watch Wahs matches so I’m not schooled up so much on other teams. Have seen all Warriors matches for last couple of years though. It seems like someone has gone around DWZ at least once in every single match. It’s all very well to “use the touch line as a defender” in league, but he appears to believe that it’s actually going to make a fucking tackle!
-
Warriors gifted an early penalty, but the kick criminally doesn’t find touch and instead of putting pressure on Penrith, they’re doing it to us
League rules confuse the hell out of me sometimes. DWZ clearly tackled Casey before he got the ball yet the Bunker clears that immediately.
-
Good start to force a Panthers error. Another set in our attacking 10

Did you miss the actual start? It was terribke
It's been all Warriors since the weird Bunker decision though.
-
I turned it from the rugby and we got a repeat set and a penalty kick. That is a good start for us.
-
Our kicking isn’t high enough to create enough confusion.
Poor penalty

Yeah, I assumed that.
Edwards being so awful is actually giving me some confidence for the match.
-
Arghhh.
Passive defensive line didn’t mark up
-
We look extremely vulnerable here.
