Tough on Holland. About time Lakai got a shot.

That's more or less the side I'm expecting too. Surely by now Razor will go for either Lakai or Jacobson on the bench ahead of Kirifi.

Thought they might play Jacobson on bench to add to leadership at the end, and thought Procter might be rested. Otherwise it all looks pretty sound to me if that is the team.

So a has been at 13, a back row with a lock at 6 and two midgets at 7 and 8 after banging on all year about size, a lock that’s let in two tires in a row, two props a that have been taken to town by the Bok scrum? The one loose forward that actually hits rucks on the bench?

I thought selections were supposed to reward performance?

If you’re saying that’s the backline, that’s incorrect.

I won’t be posting this week as the leaks over the last few weeks got a bit crazy and I got asked if I was sharing the info.

I'm going to see if something still gets leaked on Facebook etc even if I don't post the backline. The Myth of Dmac page for example seemed to post not long after I had shared the info.

May seem silly to some but if I want to keep getting the inside oil I’ll tone it back this week so we can try keep the inside scoop long term. Apologies.

Not what I think they will pick but more what I would/think should be selected based on the squad (except Narawa who is not fit).

As an aside, at least 4 changes I’m hearing.

Maybe if you could post who is not in the backline then we could deduce the rest for ourselves.

Jamie Wall has said Leicester has had his eligibility rushed thru so if correct he must be in 23 , my understanding was that he would only be made available if injury to our midfield and wings was severe.

Leicester isn't in the Ta$man team for Friday night's game, so seems possible he's in the frame.

Seems alot not involved, guess those in camp have been pulled from npc: Clarke, Carter, Reece, Leicester, Reiko, ALB, Tupaea, Proctor.

                            They can't all be named...

I probably would have classified my opinion as 'anyone but BB', but an aging 2nd-string Highlanders winger getting the call-up to slot in for the ABs at 10 is pushing it.

They 'rushed through' Fainga'anuku's eligibility weeks ago when they first brought him into the squad. He's been eligible to play for the All Blacks ever since then.

The All Blacks eligibility laws have always been fluid and he was always going to be able to be brought into the squad if Razor pushed for it hard enough. Evidently he and NZR compromised.

It will be exactly the same when Mo'unga returns to NZ. NZR have said he's not eligible immediately upon his return. If need be, however, he will become eligible.

Jamie Wall has said Leicester has had his eligibility rushed thru so if correct he must be in 23 , my understanding was that he would only be made available if injury to our midfield and wings was severe.

I really dislike this. Bending the rules for a guy who has never even really been a first choice AB, when we don't have any midfield injuries, plenty of wingers available, and he hasn't even played a Super game since returning.

Encouraging guys to go overseas and come back for the WC, or letting them fast-track back in because a coach likes them - it cheapens everything, shits on those who have stayed, and is inarguably to our long-term detriment.

I'd be hard against it for a Carter or McCaw. For these haven't-beens, it can fuck all the way off.
